Horse Shelters

Long lasting, cost effective shelter for your horses and other animals. Giving ample protection from both the cold and the wind, these shelters help horses stay warm and dry in the winter- while, just as importantly, giving both shade and shelter in the summer. Perfect year round protection.

Most of our shelters are purchased with skids, and metal roofing- customers wanting exceptionally long life from their shelters also tend to add pressure treated plywood sheeting, corner boards and sheeting inside the walls. When built with these extras- our shelters have an extraordinary life expectancy. Because the plywood is treated, it requires no painting. The metal on the roof will last a lifetime- and the plywood sheeting inside the walls provides good protection from kicking (which adds substantial lifespan to the walls).

Tack rooms are another popular addition- the standard size is 8x8, which allows generous room inside for storage of saddles, tack, feed and other supplies. The tack room addition is well built, with heavy floor and walls. The door is a full 4’ wide, allowing easy entry with saddles and other bulky items. The tack room is finished with corner boards, and the door is lockable for the security of your belongings.

*If preferred- the tack room can be built as an 8x8, stand-alone shed. Built, and finished in the same style as the horse shelters- the shed looks good , when placed near the shelters, and doesn’t sacrifice any room in your horse shelter.Contact for more info*

Our horse shelters are available assembled and ready for use, or as kits- for customer assembly. Standard size is 8x16- this is both the most common, and the most cost effective size. Other sizes are also available- ranging from 8x8 up to 8x24 (as well as custom sizes)- contact for more information. All shelters should be anchored to the ground for wind protection- anchoring kits are available (see optional extras).

Delivery is available (for both assembled shelters and kits) with a tilt deck trailer for easy unloading.
